Cristiano Ronaldo has been replaced in back to back games played, by his boss Maurizio Sarri after he has been below par and he has even failed to last the whole 90 minutes two times consecutively now. The first episode was against Milan in Serie A and the second was in the Champions League during their 2-1 victory over Lokomotiv Moscow.

However, when he was taken off in the 55th minute against AC Milan in their next match, Ronaldo seemed far from pleased and fuming. It was even reported that Ronaldo had left the stadium before the match had even ended. This gave rise to speculations that perhaps all did not seem well in the Juventus camp.

Cristiano has decided to give his take on the matter and bring clarity to situation. Sarri said that the decision to replace was due to Ronaldo’s knee injury. Supporting his manager he admitted that he was not fully fit . He further added in the last three weeks he has been limited,’ he told reporters after Portugal’s 2-0 win over Luxembourg.
